Welcome to Realms of Gold, a specialised tour company for those who have an interest in History, Archaeology and Architecture. Our tours are designed for discerning travellers who, accompanied by an expert, like to see and learn as much as they can about the places they visit. A relaxed atmosphere, comfortable surroundings, and the company of like-minded people are an essential part of the experience. Groups never exceed 24 participants, and are more usually numbered in the teens or fewer. Realms of Gold is fully insured and travel bonded.
Leader profile
Dr. Pamela Marshall, FSA. In her career as a researcher, author and university lecturer she has sustained a particular specialism in the archaeology and history of buildings. Her work in the field of castle studies is internationally recognised. For many years she enjoyed leading study tours with university and commercial groups before setting up her own company.
Tailor-made service
We will do our best to accommodate special requests, such as flying from a different airport, arriving earlier or staying on. There is normally a small administrative charge for this service.
